Most maps & GPS will accurately guide you to the Point Arena Wharf. Upon arrival, look up to the right to find the Wharf Master’s Inn on the bluffs.
ARRIVING
To find the hidden driveway, continue driving on Port Rd and turn right before the Point Arena Fishing Pier and a second right behind Point Arena Pizza to find the fork in the road. Take the left fork and proceed up the driveway. The lobby is located in the upper parking lot. This road has no outlet.
PARKING
We have one parking spot per room. Trucks and large SUVs are asked to park in our lower lot as the upper lot has smaller spaces that fit compact and standard sized vehicles.
EXITING
The upper parking lot is a one way road. To exit, you will need to reverse your vehicle and back up into the dirt driveway and then drive down to the lower lot and down the driveway.
DIRECTIONS
We are located at 785 Port Road overlooking Arena Cove in Point Arena, CA.
Please note that ALL roads are curvy. The Pacific Coast Highway CA-1 will be the least curvy.
Mountain View Road located between Boonville to Point Arena and Skagg Springs Road located between Lake Sonoma and Stewarts Point are very narrow mountain roads cutting across the coastal mountain range. These roads have steeper grades, hairpin turns, and certain areas turn into one lane roads and is not very well lit at night. We highly do not recommended taking either of these two roads for first time visitors to the Mendocino Coast.
From The South
Take Highway 101 to River Road Exit in Santa Rosa. Continue onto CA-116 West and pass through the town of Guerneville. Turn right to Highway CA-1 North to Point Arena. Take a left on Iversen Ave./Port Rd. and go 1 mile down the road to the wharf. The driveway is located behind Point Arena Pizza.
From The North
Take Highway 101 to Leggett, take the interchange to Highway CA-1 South to Point Arena. Drive past downtown Point Arena and take a right on Iversen Ave./Port Rd. and go 1 mile down the road to the wharf. The driveway is located behind Point Arena Pizza.
From The East
From Williams on Interstate 5 take Highway 20 West to Highway 101. Go South on Highway 101 and take Highway 253 West. Make a right onto Highway CA-128 West and travel through the town of Boonville and Philo until you reach Highway 1. Take a left and travel south on Highway CA-1 South. When you reach the town of Point Arena, drive past downtown and take a right on Iversen Ave./Port Rd. and go 1 mile down the road to the wharf. The driveway os located behind Point Arena Pizza.
